Leaders Dug a Hole

Mt. Weather, Virginia

The president apparently has been ushered off to one of the government's what is called D.U.M.B's  (Deep Underground Military Base.)  One could guess Mt. Weather Virginia since it is closest to the White House.  In fact, some say there is an underground tunnel linking the White House to Mt. Weather. 

There's everything there.  Cafeteria, busses, shopping, sophisticated communication center, motels; even a man made pond.  It's just like a small city deep underground, many stories deep.   It's all very hush hush of course as are most things the government does.  

  The Biden's will probably be there, the Clinton's, the ketchup people and certainly many of Obama's favorite liberal pals such as Nancy Pelosi although I would think she would be unbearable to live with.  Attendance is by invitation only and the invitations were printed long before now.    Anyway, it's a lovely resort for the rich and famous and they can practice up on their golf game;  the rest of us can just eat dirt and choke on their uranium and plutonium.    They set the world on fire and then leave for an extended stay at a  fully furnished and stocked underground resort.

 Humanity will survive at least.  When the smoke clears in X years, the ketchup man, the community organizer, and the smartest woman in the world can plant a few seeds and boot it all up again.   Bill Clinton can plant a few seeds of his own and assure the new world of  a  crop of tall, smooth talking, idiot politicians.

This attack  on America measures  its final destruction.  Already failed financially, the US lacks the raw materials it would take to reconstruct the grid.  With so few friends left in the world and the ones who are tried and true like Britain and Israel having already collapsed; borrowing is out of the question.  Without borrowed money, America joins its friends in collapse, a date long overdue. 

Retaliation for this attack is out of the question.   The military is now refusing to take orders.  They are scattered about the world waiting for a hot cup of coffee and a ride home.  

Ham radio operators are picking up the buzz that ships are closing in on the west coast as expected.   Foreign jets are heard flying high in the sky and people are beginning to understand that they are on their own come what may.  There will be no 'statement within the hour' or even within the month.  If we are to repel these attacks it must truly be a grass roots effort.  Will our battle weary souls remember that we did it before in 1775 under even worst conditions than today?

In the spirit of parody and story telling may I say that the first attack from the grass roots must be the leadership cowering underground sipping stored champagne and eating Wagih Beef while we're up here repelling their creditors who are now at the door demanding a pound of flesh?

It's a crazy story with a crazy ending.  

But stories like this can happen when a profligate nation can no more pay its bills.   When you dig a hole, you might have to get in it.
