A President In Retreat

It's not just the Libyan Rebels  who are running the wrong way from a fight, it's our president as well.

This weekend, Obama and family will be vacationing in Virginia.   The media predictably sells the trip as 'much needed rest and relaxation.'  

Last month there was the Obama fling in Rio while missiles blasted away at Libya.  What a spectacle.

My first thought upon reading of the planned vacation was, 'hmmm, I wonder what disaster is planned for this weekend that Obama is running away from.  A blow out at the Japan nuclear plant?  Ground troops invading  North Africa after we were told that was definitely not an option?  Perhaps a scheduled attack on this country?  Or maybe there is a planned HAARP attack for the Madrid fault?'   Whatever the disaster, our runner in chief is in retreat.

What we have here is an absentee president who is a pathetic looking incompetent.   He has surrendered to the wind and proposes to spend the remainder of his term cashing in on the presidential goodies and letting the chips fall where they may.  The world no longer listens to him or believes him.   American support is slipping away.   He has the credibility of a mobster.  And now it looks like Donald Trump has a chance of exposing him as a total fraud and liar as he digs into  Birthergate.

 Why would anyone pay a million dollars to keep people from acquiring a birth certificate?  No one would.  There is no birth certificate.  We can add that to the growing list of world chaos.   Let the birthers PROVE beyond a doubt that Obama was not born here and we will have a scandal of the magnitude of the OJ Simpson trial!

Limping into the future, seriously wounded as a country, best we sleep with one eye open.  
The worst is yet to come as the consequences of bad decisions come due.
